Mary’s Bedroom

Mary Johnson was the daughter of Orange and Achsa Johnson.  She lived from 1823 to 1919 – to the age of 96!  She grew up in this house, and this is her bedroom.   She attended school down the street.  In 1847, at age 24, she married Francis Sessions.   They lived in downtown Columbus where the Columbus Museum of Art is today.
