Volunteer Opportunities

The projects of the WHS are supported by dedicated volunteers and the Society invites new members and volunteers to become a part of the ‘family’ that is interested in preserving the past and building a bridge to the future.

Volunteers have made this a great and active society and new volunteers will have a very important role to play in the future. The Society is very receptive to interested individuals who wish to use their talents and learn about historic preservation and community activities.

Please contact us if you would like to volunteer to docent at the Orange Johnson House Museum, serve as a board member, work in the Shop at the Old Rectory, help catalog our collections or participate in our many events, including 3rd Grade Days and the Worthington Tour of Homes and Gardens.

At present we are looking for volunteers to help in the Shop and at events in particular.  We would love to talk to you about joining us in one of these areas, or in any area that is of interest to you, for either a short or long term commiment.  Please contact Kate at info@worthingtonhistory.org or 614-885-1247 to schedule a time to meet!
