Announcing the Orange Johnson House Bicentennial Project

Orange Johnson House Bicentennial Fund

The Worthington Historical Society requests your participation as we begin an ambitious restoration project at the Orange Johnson House, which will be 200 years old in 2019.  Phase one of the project will involve restoring the front entry, and subsequent phases will address the deteriorating brick retaining wall on the north and west sides of the property.  Our fundraising goal for the Orange Johnson Bicentennial Project fund is $150,000.

Today, by donating $25 or more to the Orange Johnson House Bicentennial Project Fund, you will receive a complimentary one year membership to the Worthington Historical Society.

The Orange Johnson House is a beloved part of this history that is made available to our community, our schools and visitors from far and wide.  Our ability to share our city’s journey from wilderness to our vibrant community has been made possible by the long-standing support of our neighbors and friends.

Your patronage will be acknowledged in our newsletter each month and posted at the Orange Johnson House during renovations and through the Bicentennial celebrations in 2019.

Sincerely,

Kate LaLonde

Director
